Our Service: Try My Gown is a virtual try-on platform and Chrome extension that uses artificial intelligence to show you how clothing and bridal wear would look on you. The Chrome extension allows you to try on clothing from any website.

2. Information We Collect

- Photos: You upload photos of yourself for virtual try-on processing

- Google Account Information: Name, email, and profile picture (if you sign in with Google)
2.2 Information Collected by the Chrome Extension
- Clothing images you select: When you select a clothing image from a webpage, the extension captures that image solely to generate a virtual try-on result. The extension only accesses image data when you explicitly click on an image.
- Authentication state: Stored locally in your browser to keep you signed in
- Try-on count: Tracked locally to manage free trial usage
2.3 Automatically Collected Information
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, number of try-ons
- Device Information: Browser type, device type, operating system
- IP Address: For security, fraud prevention, and analytics
- Cookies: Essential cookies for functionality only

- AI-Generated Images: Virtual try-on results created by our AI
3. How We Use Your Information

4. Data Storage and Retention
Automatic Deletion:
- Original Photos: Deleted immediately after AI processing
- Clothing images from Chrome Extension: Deleted immediately after processing
- Generated Images: Cached results auto-deleted within 24 hours
- Email Addresses: Stored until you unsubscribe or request deletion
- Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized after 90 days

5. Data Sharing and Third Parties
5.1 AI Processing
- Google Cloud Vertex AI: Processes your photos and clothing images to generate virtual try-on results. Google does not retain your images after processing.
5.2 Essential Service Providers
- Google OAuth: For secure login
- Supabase: Database, authentication, and file storage
- Vercel: Website hosting
- Railway: Backend API hosting
- Dodo Payments: Payment processing (we do not store your payment information)
5.3 We DO NOT Share Data With
- Advertisers or marketing companies
- Data brokers
- Social media platforms (except Google OAuth for login)
- Any third party for purposes other than providing the service
6. Chrome Extension Permissions
Our Chrome extension requires certain permissions to function:
- activeTab: To allow you to select clothing images from the webpage you are currently viewing. Only activated when you click the extension.
- storage: To save your authentication state and preferences locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device.
- scripting: To inject the image selection overlay into webpages when you click "Select from page." Only runs when you explicitly activate it.
- tabs: To communicate between the extension side panel and the active webpage.
- identity: To handle Google sign-in authentication securely.
- sidePanel: To display the extension as a persistent side panel, allowing you to browse and try on clothing without the interface closing.
- Host permissions (all URLs): Required to fetch clothing images from any shopping website for the virtual try-on. The extension only accesses image data when you explicitly select an image by clicking on it. We do not read, collect, or transmit any other data from the websites you visit.
Extension Privacy Commitment:
The Chrome extension does not read your browsing history, track the websites you visit, collect any data in the background, or run any code until you explicitly activate it by clicking the extension icon. It only processes the specific image you select.
7. Third-Party Product Images & Brand Content
All product images, brand names, logos, and trademarks displayed on our platforms are the property of their respective owners. The Chrome extension allows users to select clothing images from third-party websites — these images are used solely for generating a virtual try-on result and are not stored.
- We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brands featured or selected via the extension.
- We do not sell physical products — all purchases happen on the brand's own website.
- We do not use brand images for AI model training.
